About
Clayborn Studio was born in early motherhood, when I found myself craving a creative outlet that felt grounding, tactile, and slow. I began my pottery journey eleven months postpartum, discovering in clay a quiet counterbalance to the beautiful chaos of raising a baby.
The name Clayborn is inspired by my son Theo’s middle name, Claiborne, a small piece of family rooted in the heart of the studio.
Guided by wabi-sabi and a love of organic imperfection, my work embraces softness, texture, movement, and the beauty found in forms shaped both by hand and wheel. Each piece is built slowly and intentionally, celebrating the quiet charm of objects made to be used, loved, and lived with.
